Medal haul for gymnasts

Bishopbriggs Acro Gymnastics Club enjoyed a record breaking medal haul at the Scottish NDP Tumble Qualifiers at the Playdrome in Clydebank recently.

More than 20 gymnasts took part and all of them finished within the top 10 in their category.

Gold medals went to Ellie Lavy, Holly Mardle, Aimee McInally, Jordan Ross, Rachel Hulmes, Hollie Freel, Jade McLetchie, Amy Hulmes, Lily Begen. Silvers went to Eva Holland, Cliona Friel Tina Hill and Molly Strang, and there were bronze medals for Emily Strang and Brooke Peddie.

The club’s success continued at the Club Tumble League in Hamilton the following day. Golds went to Megan Freel, Gemma McLetchie and Ewan De Saram; silver to Jennier MacBeth, Hannah Burr and Eva Craig and bronze for Lauren Smith, Nadia Connaghan, Alyssa Martin and Cara Haine.
