Scotrail confirm services between Dalmuir - Larkhall/Motherwell, Larkhall - Milngavie and Cumbernauld and Glasgow Central - Newton Lanark will be cancelled, delayed or revised.
They said an assisting unit is en-route and replacement bus services will operate, leaving from both Larkhall and Hamilton Central at 8:30pm.
