This event will raise money to support MAF which provides medical aid in remote communities in hard-to-reach parts of the world.

They will have a plane parked in the church car park for all to see and visit from 9.30am to 12.30pm at Bearsden Baptist Church, 14 Roman Road, Bearsden.

Andy Martin, Community Manager at MAF, said: “Bearsden Baptist church has supported this annual event for more than 20 years and we’re so grateful for their ongoing commitment to serve isolated communities. It’s not just a day for churchgoers though - with our plane here for the day, everyone in the community is invited along to have a go in the cockpit!”

Visitors will also hear more about the exciting flights that are serving isolated communities across plains, mountains and jungles. Children and adults can enjoy interactive activities, videos and refreshments and learn what life as an MAF ‘bush pilot’ is really like.
