Mother and daughter duo are looking for a new home

As mums across the country prepare to be pampered by their loved ones this Mother's Day, a furry mother and daughter duo at Dogs Trust Glasgow will be taking the opportunity to spend some quality time together as they await loving new homes.

Ten-year-old Roxy and her five-year-old daughter Sasha have always lived together and are totally inseparable. They have been at the rehoming centre for almost a year and whilst they have so much love to give, they are still awaiting their perfect family home.

Sasha and Roxy are not only mother and daughter but they are the very best of friends. They are both active girls and are at their happiest when running and playing in the garden together. This adorable duo are looking for a quiet home together with a secure garden for them to explore and a spot on the sofa where they can curl up and snooze after a busy day.

Dogs Trust Glasgow Rehoming Centre Manager Sandra Lawton said: “It’s not often we see a mother and daughter duo looking for a home together but Sasha and Roxy are like ‘two pups in a pod’ so we really want to make sure we find a home for them together. They are such sweet characters and we know they will settle into their new home well with their devoted family member by their side.

“Rehoming a pair of dogs can be incredibly rewarding, especially if it means you’re helping to keep a family together. We’re appealing to anyone who thinks that they can offer them a home together to please get in touch – it’s a case of double the dog, but double the love.”

If you think you could offer this mother and daughter duo a happy home, please get in touch with Dogs Trust Glasgow on 0300 303 0292.
