MSP hits out at NHS rural spending

That was the question asked by the area’s MSP Aileen Campbell as she claimed that her rural constituency wasn’t getting a fair slice of the NHS Lanarkshire spending ‘cake’ – with the urban parts of the county getting preferential treatment.

Her comments were spurred by the announcement of a new Health Centre for Wishaw.
