Mr Lyle said: “I’m delighted to be marking the official opening of my office by hosting an open day and throwing open the doors to our community.

“The office has had a fresh new look which is welcoming, warm and non-partisan. It’s a place for people to come for advice and feel comfortable knowing that me and my team are on hand to help where we can.

“The open day will be an opportunity to speak to those within our community as I have already invited fellow elected members, role models within our community, partner organisations, the emergency services and of course my new neighbours on Main Street.

“I am very much looking forward to welcoming many people into my new office this weekend and continuing as ever to work for those who placed their trust in me at the Scottish Parliamentary election.”
