The festival, which runs from July 29 to 31, already has Scottish hip-hop giants Stanley Odd and Colonel Mustard & The Dijon 5 as confirmed bands so far.

There will also be an array of other entertainment on offer for adults and children including theatre, art, comedy, performance, crafts, nature trails, and food and drink.

Live music will include reggae, dub, soul, pop, and indie from several notable and award winning artists.

DJ group Hometown Sound Promotions have been selling out shows, stirring up some lively atmospheres and intimidating roadies with their huge sound-system.

Reggae sets from Leanne and The Radix, CC Sound, and Supa & Da Kryptonites (winners of The Herald Best Unsigned Act 2015) are not to be missed, while the smooth unmistakable sounds of Woodwife, Earths, and Urvanovic (listed in the Herald’s Top Scottish albums in 2015) will haunt, stir, and charm both young and old. The festival will have more DJ sets from Hex (Symbiosis), amongst others, rounding off what promises to be an eclectic event of musical entertainment.

Alongside an exciting music line-up there will be several interactive activities offering something fun for everyone to get involved with.

Shindig revellers can immerse themselves in collaborative chameleon building with artist Barry Neeson. Party goers of all ages can help build the giant chamaeleon which is the new shapeshifting MugStock mascot. By bringing old CD’s, festival attendees can create their very own personalised scales.

There will also be performances by Glasgow Hula Hoop as well as workshops with them, while Cordão de Ouro Scotland showcase the martial art of Capoeira with interactive performances engaging all ages.

Capoeira is a Brazilian non-contact martial art which incorporates dance, acrobatics, athleticism, and music which defines its unique style.

Now in its second year, this intimate festival is less than ten miles from Glasgow at Mugdock Country Park which is an idyllic natural location.
