Music and fun help to get the Christmas season underway
Crowds shrugged off the rain and cold to create an electric atmosphere in Kirkintilloch town centre for the annual Christmas lights switch on.
The event, which was organised by the Regent Centre and Kirkintilloch Community Council , on Saturday (November 28) featured choral music and fairground rides.
Santa joined Heart FM DJ Paul Harper to switch on the lights.
Meanwhile, kids could get stuck-in at the Christmas Craft Zone where they were able to create a range of festive items.
