The Care Inspectorate, Scotland’s social care regulator, held an intensity inspection at Nethanvale Care Home in Lesmahagow in March this year.

Inspectors graded the home ‘weak’ for the quality of care and support provided to residents, the second lowest possible grade awarded.

It is the second consecutive inspection which found the quality of care and support provided to be weak.

A spokesman for the Care Inspectorate said: “We continue to have concerns about the quality of care provided to residents and we are working with the service to ensure that they improve quickly. We recognise the service provides residents with a safe, secure and supportive environment in which to live.”
