Netherlee street scheduled to close for resurfacing work

A road in Netherlee is scheduled for closure for up to 19 days next month as part of East Renfrewshire Council’s programme of road improvements.

The road will be closed for up to 19 days.

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order has been put in place for the closure of Ormonde Avenue, from Monday, October 14, to Friday, November 1.

The closure will allow footway and carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out.

It’s part of a £3 million investment in road maintenance across East Renfrewshire.

Ormonde Road, marked in red, will be closed from October 14, with the alternative route indicated by the blue dots.

Vehicle access to properties on Ormonde Avenue during the closure period may be permitted by the contractor on site when possible to do so. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

The alternative route is Ormonde Drive – Ormonde Crescent – Parklands Road, and vice versa.
