Netherlee Trust celebrates 40 years

The housing and support unit joined developments across the country in marking the Trust’s 40th anniversary.

The East Renfrewshire branch’s chosen celebration was a Wizard of Oz-themed party, attended by provost Alastair Carmichael and his wife.

The provost said: “On arrival we were taken up the Yellow Brick Road to the Land of Trust, to be greeted by the Tin Man, the Cowardly Lion, and no less than four Dorothys, which set the tone for the afternoon

“Co-ordinator Beatrice and her merry band of helpers laid on a beautiful lunch, and we were entertained by a most talented duo, Sian and Stefan, who gave us a Royal Variety 
Show.

“I wish to commend the staff and tenants on a wonderful afternoon.”
