Editor Ian Stewart said: “Scotland on Sunday is changing. After a lot of research we have decided to make it more relevant to readers at a price that will make it even more attractive.
“It will still be the best Scottish quality Sunday newspaper in the country, but it will be a different kind of newspaper, with many of the old favourites but with a lot of new and innovative content.
“It will have an expanded sports pull-out section and a new property magazine.
“We hope existing readers will continue to enjoy it and we hope that new readers will come to like it as much as our current loyal followers.”
