NHS chief set to retire

The chief executive of NHS Lanarkshire is to retire in December.

On Friday Ian Ross announced his intention to stand down from the role after 27 years in NHS Lanarkshire and 45 years working in healthcare. He first joined NHS Lanarkshire in 1987.

Ian said: “I have been fortunate to work with many fantastic colleagues throughout my career in the NHS and particularly in Lanarkshire. I would like to thank them all for their support and dedication.”
