No longer loch mess
A Banton resident has shown the true meaning of community spirit by using his free time to clean up the village loch in time for the summer.
The man has been checking fishing permits and cleaning up the loch without pay.
Banton resident Morag Barrie, said: “For the last few years the loch has just been a mess. I could have cried when I saw it, as it was such a state.
“This man has his own job, he just volunteers and it is a selfless task. I just want to thank him as you see the difference.”
