Nominations called for Provost Award

Do you have a neighbour, friend or a member of your family who deserves special recognition for work they have done in the community?

This is your chance to have them recognised as the call goes out from East Renfrewshire Council for nominations for this year’s Provost Award.

It is the council’s oportunity to say thank you to the army of unsung heroes in East Ren who have contributed to the community.

Provost Alastair Carmichael said: “We know there are many individuals working tirelessly in our community day in, day out.

“That’s why we are appealing for residents to nominate their citizen of the year for this award.

“Make sure they don’t miss out and nominate them today.”

Nominations can be made online at the council’s website.

The form can also be printed off and filled in.

The winner will be invited to the council chambers to receive the award from the provost.
