Olivia aims for crown

A young woman from Kirkintilloch has her sights set on scooping a national beauty pageant.

Olivia McPike recently won the title of Miss Stirlingshire International.

The former St Ninian’s High School pupil, who is currently working in the family restaurant Mariana in Kirkintilloch town centre, now goes forward to the UK Power 
Pageant which takes place 
in July.

Titles up for grabs are Miss International UK, Miss Grand Scotland, World Supermodel UK, and Miss Intercontinental Scotland.

Olivia’s dad Jim said: If 
Olivia is successful, she will be flown to an exotic location later on in the year to represent Scotland in the grand 
final pageant.”

The UK Power Pageant is being held at Park Hall Hotel, Lancashire on Saturday, July 9 and Sunday, July 10
