Open call for young stage stars

Calling all budding young thespians - Harlequin is auditioning for new members.

The Eastwood Theatre for Youth group is on the lookout for senior members in time for August, when rehearsals for end of year pantomime — this year, Aladdin — begin.

Auditions will be held on May 22, and are open to boys and girls going into fourth year and over, up to the age of 21.

Harlequin was established back in 1976 (then known as the Junior Youth Fellowship of Giffnock Congregational Church) and has, in recent years, staged a number of local hits at Eastwood Park Theatre, including Bugsy Malone (2012), West Side Story (2013) and, earlier this year, Grease.
