The Pollokshields school was praised by inspectors for its high academic attainment — described as “very strong” at S4-S6 level — and “outstanding” levels of achievement in advanced highers, sitting at 94 per cent in 2013.

The report reads: “Across the nursery and school, staff have a clear sense of direction and have a strong focus on ensuring children and young people achieve all that they can.”

“Our sincere thanks go to the whole school community for the hard work, support and commitment which has been acknowledged by the inspectorate in this very positive report.”
