South Lanarkshire Council’s Planning Committee agreed to give Jonathan Colin Smith the extra time period to build the houses after the previous application had elapsed.

In the planning documents it was noted that since the previous application for 60 homes, near Tait Walk, had been granted in August 2011 the original applicants, McTaggart and Mickel Ltd and C & N Properties, had suffered contrasting fortunes.
