Allander Rotary Club prize draw - signed Man United FC top on offer for charity

Charities and clubs have had to come up with innovative ways to raise funds during Covid-19 lockdown - and
Allander Rotary in Bearsden is no different.

After being gifted a signed Manchester United FC top, framed, the local rotary club
decided to auction it online to raise funds.

All proceeds raised will go towards Wheelpower, a national charity which provides opportunities for disabled people to play sport and lead healthy active lives.

A spokesperson for the club said: “Tickets are only £1 and a great opportunity at a reasonable cost to win a signed jersey.

“There is a maximum of 1000 tickets on sale. The auction will close when all of the tickets are sold or on October 31, whichever is the soonest.”

The football top has been signed by the team of 2017/18.

The Allander spokesperson added: “We are looking for as much support and spreading of the news on this as possible. Please let anyone you know, family, friends, neighbours, and any other contacts or groups you are a member of about our prize draw which we hope will raise £1,000 for Wheelpower.”
