Burst water pipe causes disruption to Bishopbriggs water supply

A burst water pipe is causing disruption to the water supply for people in Bishopbriggs.

Scottish Water said this morning that the repair will take around two hours to fix.

Its spokesperson said: “The water supply will gradually return to normal for customers once the repair has been completed.

“We expect it will take up to 3 hours for all customers to have normal water supply restored.

“While we carry out the repair please be aware that you may experience no water supply, low / intermittent pressure or discoloured water.”
