Caring Hillhead kids make Easter eggstra special for care home residents
A group of Kirkintilloch youngsters made Easter eggstra special for older people in the local community.
The young members of Hillhead Helping Hands community group organised an Easter Egg collection, originally for local children.
Organiser Alicia Shepherd said: “The response from the local community and businesses resulted in not only every child from Hillhead Primary and Hillhead Early Years receiving an egg - but also every primary aged child in Merkland Primary.”
She added: “After that, we had an excess of 80 Easter eggs that we then donated to Campsie view Care Home because you're never to old for an Easter egg!”
