Diamond day for Kirky duo

It was a diamond day recently for Kirkintilloch couple Alex and Elspeth Cassells who

Despite lockdown measures restricting their celebrations, the duo had a great time at a small family get together in their son Alisdair’s garden.

Alex and Elspeth wed on Friday, September 2, 1960 at Renfrew Baptist Church. They lived for several years in the west end of Glasgow before moving to Kirkintilloch in 1966 with their two young sons Alisdair and Fraser.
