The 20-year-old friends, both former pupils at Mearns Castle High School, have managed to reach their £700 target on their JustGiving page, but now hope to raise even more money for the charity.

They were wild camping the whole way.

Show Racism the Red Card is an anti-racism education charity which utilises the high profile of professional footballers as anti-racist role-models to combat racism in society.

Fraser said: “We both feel strongly about this organisation as sport has played a huge part in both of our lives. All funds will be getting donated directly to the charity and both myself and Stuart would greatly appreciate if you could donate any amount you can spare.

“We hope to raise awareness about this worldwide issue and are looking forward to playing a part in fighting racism.”

You can still donate at Fraser and Stuart’s JustGiving page
