Una set up her holistic therapies business in 2010. Having dabbled in holistic therapy, including Reiki, she decided to leave her corporate career behind and head to college and re-train as a complementary therapist.

On being nominated, she said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be nominated. I actually entered myself but for a different category! I think itmust have been a client who put me forward.”

The Awards celebrate and recognise the achievements of women in business.

As well as awarding trophies to the winners, the ceremony, which takes place tomorrow, will see inspirational women Judy Murray OBE and Corrine Hutton, founder of the Finding Your Feet charity, speak at the event. Music will be provided by Glasgow based singer-songwriter Rico.
