Toni’s Pizzeria won the title of Scotland’s best pizzeria a few years back in 2018 at the Italian Awards.

The Giffnock pizza place were delighted to see Marti Pellow pop in for a pie, they wrote on their Instagram, captioning a picture of Marti in a kilt in the Giffnock spot: “He feels it in his fingers, he feels it in our doughs… Marti Pellow knows where the pizza love flows! Always a pleasure.”

Following a gig in the city six weeks ago, Marti Pellow posted to Instagram: “ What a beautiful day in Glasgow, poignant, powerful and heart warming. A city that my heart always yearns after. Thank you for having me.”

Earlier this year Marti Pellow was spotted filming near Gardner Street in Glasgow’s West End - reportedly for some form of Hogmanay special coming out later this month.

Last month Marti Pellow gave a rendition of ‘Love is All Around’ at Glasgow Queen Street Station while a fan backed him up on piano.

Marti Pellow announced earlier this year that he will play a massive concert at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro next year on Saturday November 1, 2025. The new gig will celebrate 30 years since the release of ‘Love is All Around’ - the defining track of a generation, most famously featured in the 1994 Four Weddings and a Funeral soundtrack.

The show is part of an eight-date arena tour, will see Marti revisit his career-defining moments, with a special spotlight on Love Is All Around. It will also feature a host of other hits from his days with Wet Wet Wet and his hugely successful solo career.
