Photo contest winners go on show
The entries in East Dunbartonshire Photographic Competition go on show at the Auld Kirk Museum from September 12 to October 3.
This year’s competition saw a fantastic range of outstanding entries, said judge, Andy Forman, photographer and member of the British Institute of Professional Photography, who was highly impressed by the quality and diversity of images submitted.
The Prizes Winners for 2015 are:
Best Print – Gillespie of Lenzie Trophy: Walid Hassan with “Fond of Horses”.

Architecture – Ian Finlayson, “The Boatshed”
Landscape - Chris Bonnington, “Misty Glen”
Nature - Neil MacGregor, “Red Throated Diver”
People – Walid Hassan, “Fond of Horses”
Under 18 – Abby Docherty “Textures”
Olivia McFadden – “Little Duckling”
The museum, at Cowgate, Kirkintilloch, is open 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm from
Tuesday to Saturday, admission free.
