Pic of the week: The Last Fence

Fifteen club members went on an outing to Ayr Races when the jump season was on. After taking the usual shots of paddock and track we decided to disperse throughout the grounds to find our best shots.

I decided to get as close to the last fence as possible and when the horses came along I lay on the ground so that I would be shooting up at them which gave me a sky background instead of the stand and spectators.

My Nikon was set to manual with a Nikkor 24-85 lens set at 42mm with an aperture of f7.1, speed 1/2000 second at ISO 800.
