Plans for Lesmahagow allotment
PLANS have finally been submitted for a new allotment scheme, set up by Lesmahagow Development Trust.
The plans, which have been sent to South Lanarkshire Council’s planning department, will see the erection of two polytunnels, two secure shelter units and a further two lock-up units, as well as car parking and the formation of an access road.
Car parking will be at Eastwood Road in Lesmahagow with gardeners being urged to walk or cycle up to the site in Brocketsbrae, owned by the Forestry Commission.
