Plans to bring back village gala day
Hopes are high Muirhead and Chryston Gala Day can be revived - 25 years after it was last held
A public meeting takes place on Wednesday, March 5 at 7pm in the Masonic Hall in Muirhead to plan the way forward.
Chryston butcher Stewart Collins, chairman of the gala committee, said: “With the Commonwealth Games 2014 cycle race coming through the village this summer, it’s a great time to revive teh gala day.”
He added: “We hope many people will come to the meeting.”
