Plans to develop public loo lodged with council

A former public toilet could be turned into a beauty spot.

A planning application has been lodged with North Lanarkshire Council to change the use of the former public toilets on King Street in Kilsyth.

Those behind the planning application want to build a beauty and nail salon.

The planning application comes after plans to turn the site into a hot food take away were denied earlier this year.
