Plea to help find missing moggie

A family is appealing to people to help find its beloved house cat who has gone missing.

The Brown Bengal moggie called Remus vanished from his home at Lochalsh Crescent, Milton of Campsie on Tuesday.

The one-year-old cat who has leopard spots was wearing a blue leather Diamante collar when he disappeared.

An appeal has gone out through the Facebook page of the Glasgow branch of Cats Protection League.

A spokesperson at the branch said: “Remus is a shy, quiet cat who likes to keep to himself and avoids strangers.

“He is not used to being outside so it is possible he is sheltering in a hut, garage or some dry covered area close to where he went missing.

“If you live near Lochalsh Crescent would you please have a look around your property just to check that Remus has not set up a temporary residence.

“Remus’s family is extremely upset at his disappearance and would dearly love to have him back home safe and sound where he belongs.”

If you recognise Remus or have any information with regards to his whereabouts please contact the Glasgow branch on 0345 371 2722 or email [email protected].
