Majella’s, based in the town’s Cowgate, landed a Bronze Award at the recent Scottish Bakery Awards for their tasty Scotch Pies.

The awards were handed out at Glasgow’s Crowne Plaza Hotel.

It’s not the first time the business has been praised - winning a Bronze Award for their strawberry tarts at the same awards in 2015.

The bakery has also been crowned Scottish Small Business of the Year.
