Police concern over vulnerable missing woman Katrina

Police Scotland is seeking the assistance of the public in trying to trace 31-year-old Katrina Reeves - who has been missing since Saturday (October 1)

She was last seen around 6.15pm that evening at her home in Broad Street, Bridgeton, Glasgow.

However, her family has not seen or heard from her since.

Katrina is extremely close to her family and tends to spend the majority of her time with them. It’s unusual for her to go off on her own. They are growing increasingly concerned and just want to know she is ok.

She is around 5ft high, with a slim build, fair complexion and light, collar-length hair. When last seen, she was wearing a short black coat, black trousers and black boots.

Extensive enquiries have been carried out but so far all attempts to locate Katrina have been unsuccessful.

Inspector Iain Sibbald said: “It’s completely out of character for Katrina not to be with her family and that fact that she has not been in touch with them is giving us cause for concern. Our enquiries have shown that there is a possibility, she may have travelled to the Borders area and we are liaising with officers in that area, as well as officers from British Transport Police in an effort to locate Katrina. If anyone has seen Katrina or has any information or knowledge as to her whereabouts, then please do contact us.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact officers at London Road Police Office on 101.
