Police hunt for Law park firebug

The latest attack was minutes after midnight on Tuesday, April 19, when a series of fires were set around the playpark.

Two Sheds, three wheelie bins and a swing were damaged.

“The area has been the target of similar incidents of late, and patrols have been increased,” said a police spokesman.

Witnesses are urged to contact Police Scotland on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 in confidence.

*Police are also looking for witnesses to a theft in Carluke between 10.30pm last Monda and 7.30am on Tuesday. During that time a suspect entered a property in Milton Street, Carluke, and got the keys to a grey Ford Fiesta which was then stolen, along with cash from inside the property.
