Police raid - man arrested

At around 6.30am this morning (Friday 6 November), Police Scotland officers conducted an intelligence-led operation and searched an address under warrant in Wallace Wynd in Kirkmuirhill in South Lanarkshire.

A 45 year-old man has been arrested in connection with alleged drugs offences and alleged serious and organised crime offences.

Detective Chief Inspector Kenny Gray, of the Organised Crime and Counter-Terrorism Unit, said: “Serious and organised crime will not be tolerated in our communities. Anyone with information or who notices anything suspicious is asked to contact police via the 101 number.

“Alternatively you can call CRIMESTOPPERS on 0800 555 111 where all calls will remain anonymous.”
