Police warn that bogus caller is at large in Cumbernauld
Officers are warning that a man posing as a charity worker is not on the level.
Officers have received two reports about an overweight grey-haired man in his 50s who firstly visited the home of an elderly lady in Darroch Way around 5,40pm on Tuesday
He then gained access to the home of an elderly man in Braehead Road around 6pm by asking him for a glass of water.
Anyone who encounters this man should contact police on 101.
