Public toilets return to Lanark Loch
AFTER a two year wait, the desperate need for public toilets at Lanark’s main visitor attraction is finally to be met.
The Gazette has learned that Lanark Loch IS to get the basic but vital facility back in time for the commercially vital summer season.
Despite the facility having been run before by South Lanarkshire Council, the Gazette understands that the replacement cost is to be borne by the holder of the franchise for the refreshments kiosk at the lochside which the old toilets shared the same block with.
