Pupil wins cash prize for her school
Mount Florida primary school P5 pupil, nine-year-old Yolanda Sorley, has won £200 for her school as runner-up of the Scottish heat of an art competition run by pipes and drainage firm John Davidson Pipes (JDP).
This year’s theme was healthy eating and five-a-day of fruit and vegetables and Yolanda’s entry centred on the importance of getting your five-a-day.
The Eat Healthy Live Healthy competition is a community initiative across JDP’s network of branches.
