Pupils go yellow for Bellahouston walk
PRIMARY age children from schools across Glasgow descended on the southside last week in aid of the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice.
Over 2,000 kids attended Bellahouston Park to take part in the 11th Go Yellow 5k walk, donning their yellow caps and trainers in a bid to raise money for the Glasgow hospice.
Karen Hattie, PPWH’s community fundraiser, said: “We’re absolutely delighted that so many pupils were able to make it along to this year’s Go Yellow 5k. The weather was fantastic and feedback from teachers and pupils has been terrific.”
