Queen's Park Camera Club, the oldest camera club in Glasgow, is participating in the Doors Open Day again, following their successful debut in 2016.

The club rooms may not be much to look at but go through the red door and you will enter a vibrant, creative space full of wonderful images of landscapes, cities, people, animals, flowers and bugs…

The club has a proud history of working with the local community and of documenting Glasgow. This year, they will be featuring images from recent projects.

Throughout the day, members will be on hand to give advice on improving your own photography. They can even show you how to get better pictures from your smart phone.

Also on show is the best of their members’ photographs from the past year, so pop in, put your feet up and enjoy it.

The club, located at 54 Millbrae Road, G42 9NU, will be open from 10am to 4pm on September 16 and 17. Teas, coffees and delicious home baking will be available for a small donation.
