Resurfacing of footpaths and roads to begin

Road improvements are planned for Rouken Glen Road from Mon-Wed, July 20 until August 5. The work will take place during the school summer holidays.

Phase 1 will be footpath resurfacing. Phases 2 and 3 will be carriageway resurfacing. All phases relate to eastbound lanes between Rowallan Rd and Woodfarm Rd.

Rouken Glen Rd will remain open throughout for westbound traffic but will be restricted to the nearside lane for Phases two and three.

Eastbound traffic will either be restricted to one lane or diverted when the eastbound lanes are closed.

The eastbound road closure is between Spiersbridge Roundabout and Woodfarm Rd. The side road junctions of Rowallan Road, Woodfarm Rd and Davieland Rd will be closed for the duration.
