Retailers short-listed for awards

THE Avenue Shopping Centre in Newton Mearns has been shortlisted for two major industry awards – the Ace Achieving Customer
Excellence award and the Purple Apple Marketing Awards.

Michelle McCabe, centre manager at The Avenue, said: “Customer service has always been – and always will be – our top priority and I’m delighted that The Avenue continues to garner the recognition that our hard-working staff and retailers deserve.

Meanwhile, gift retailer About Living in Giffnock and Newton Mearns has been selected as a finalist in The Greats Gift Retailer Awards 2015 — seen as an Oscar-style ceremony for the industry.
