Road to get £1.6 million facelift
A TRAFFIC jam ‘hot spot’ used by hundreds of Clydesdale commuters every day is to get a £1.6 million upgrade.
And Clydesdale West SNP Councillor David Shearer has welcomed the improvement plans for the A71 Horsley Brae/B7011 Brownlee Road junction near Garrion Bridge.
“I’m on that road most days to go to Hamilton,” David said.
“It is the worst traffic jam spot in and around Clydesdale.”
