Roadworks ahead, in Carluke and the rural area

Part of Station Road in Carluke is closed from today for structural work to be carried out at the Carluke Burn Bridge.

Station Road will be closed from the park and ride entrance to Milton Road, for up to five days.

And in Thankerton Boat Road will be closed from Sheriflats Road to Number 29 Boat Road from today for up to three days during the times 9.30am - 3.30pm.

In Auchengray, the C207 Haywood to Auchengray (Tashieburn Road) is closed from next Monday, October 17 for up to 10 weeks for repair works to Mosshat Burn bridge. Pedestrian and vehicle access will be maintained to properties within the closure.

The alternative Route is the C207 Haywood, south along the B7016, turn left and travel on C37 to the junction of C207 Haywood and vice versa.

Next week work also gets underway on the park and ride area for Carstairs Junction.

Strawfrank Road will be closed from Station Road to St Charles Avenue from Monday October 17 for up to five days for park and ride footway works. Signed diversions will be in place.

And in Kilncadzow, the C4 Kilncadzow (A721) to Lanark will be closed from Greentowers Road to Moor Road from Monday October 17 for a maximum of five days for carriageway repairs.
