Roadworks in the southside

ROADWORKS are due to begin from tomorrow (Sunday, March 30) on the M77 and Glasgow South Orbital (A726).

Resurfacing work wil take place during the late hours, from 8pm until 6am, for th4e safety of both the public and road workers.

Advanced warning signs will be positioned on the approach to the works and specified diversion routes will be in place for each night. As the resurfacing activities are weather dependent, the programme will be subject to change if inclement weather occurs on any of the nights.

The areas affected are as follows:

30 March 2014 – A726 (GSO) westbound between Mearnskirk and M77 Junction 5.

31 March 2014 – A726 (GSO) eastbound between M77 Junction 5 and Mearnskirk.

1 April to 17 April 2014 – M77 southbound between Junction 5 and Junction 7.

22 April to 26 April 2014 – M77 Junction 5 Maidenhill Interchange.

27 April to 9 May 2014 – M77 northbound between Junction 8 and Junction 5.
