Allison said “I have run for 31 years off and on, however, I have always had a passion for music and dance but never had the time to pursue it due to the time I was putting into my athletics.

“I have had many happy years running and have only a niggle in my back so I am delighted that I have had no long term injuries from pounding the streets.

“I took up line dancing in 2012 for 1 hour a week after giving it a try. I was really taken by it. I studied for the BATD teachers qualification and I’m now ready to teach others.

“I love line dancing because it makes me smile. I want people to have the same fun, fitness and friendship that I have enjoyed. I am looking for absolute beginners.
