Runners get 2015 off to a flying start with the Lenzie Jog

ON THE ROAD: The Lenzie Jog attracted around 400 runners at the start of January and it has been revealed this week that hundreds of runners have signed up for the Kirkintilloch 12.5k in February.

Around 400 runners kicked off 2015 by taking part in the annual Lenzie Jog on Friday, January 2.

The annual event has become a firm favourite with athletes and runners of all ages and abilities.

The jog was organised by Kirkintilloch Olympians and Lenzie Community
Council.

Results will be posted on the Herald website on Tuesday and will be published in next week’s Kirkintilloch Herald.
