Saltires, stars and stripes for Space Academy

The youngsters were part of the Maxwell Mearns Castle church summer holiday club, Space Academy. Director Debbie McDougall said: “The church team worked really hard to develop a programme of drama, games, crafts, comedy and music and were rewarded by a hugely fantastic response from the children.”

The club was visited by members of the Faith Evangelical Presbyterian church in Florida, who introduced the kids to American games — the church also held a range of Saltires, Stars and Stripes events to welcome their guests.
