A Christmas Chartbusters Review Show, featuring chart hits from the last 40 years as well as some Christmas classics, will warm the crowd up before the big finale.

Provost Eileen Logan will be joined on stage by Santa, Lanimer Queen Paige McCulloch, Lord Cornet David Murdoch and Knoxy for the countdown to the switch-on.

“I am delighted to be taking part in the Christmas Lights switch-on festivities again this year,” said Provost Logan.

“I hope as many people as possible will come along and help us celebrate what has become a hugely successful event. There is a real family atmosphere in the town during the celebrations and there is something for everyone to enjoy.”
